Welcome to Hot Button! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hot Button mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Hot Button.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hot Button. By using the Service, you confirm that:

You are of legal age to form a binding agreement

You have the authority to accept these Terms

You will comply with all applicable laws

2. Account Access

You may sign in using your Google or Apple account. By doing so, you authorize Hot Button to access limited profile information and permissions you approve (such as Google Business Profile access).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and activities under your credentials.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use Hot Button only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Misuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service

Attempt to access data you’re not authorized to use

Upload harmful content or violate the rights of others

Use the platform to harass, defraud, or mislead anyone

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

4. Features and Functionality

Hot Button allows users to:

Connect to and post content on Google Business Profiles

Generate AI-powered captions

Send review requests via SMS

Create QR codes for review collection

View post history and account insights

Some features may change or evolve as the product is updated.

5. Data Privacy

We take privacy seriously. All use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not store your passwords and only access information explicitly authorized through secure OAuth connections with Google and Apple.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and functionality provided by Hot Button is the intellectual property of Powered by Slingshot, unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the Service without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hot Button is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

Use or inability to use the Service

Unauthorized access to your account

Changes to or temporary loss of the Service

Use the app at your own risk, and always verify the accuracy of published content.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Effective Date" will change. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted indicates your acceptance of those changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in small claims court, where permitted.
